Wayne Hykaway, an original member of the Engagement of People with Lived Experience of Dementia (EPLED) Advisory Group, passed away on May 17, 2024. He will be remembered by the EPLED team and his fellow Advisory Group members as a friend and a fearless, enthusiastic contributor to research. He will also be remembered for his love of hats, happy hours and IT analogies. Wayne was involved in multiple CCNA projects, including participating in CCNA Partners Forum and Science Days as a panelist sharing his experiences in LTC during the COVID-19 pandemic: Highlighting the importance of engagement in long-term residential care.
