Consult with EPLED
Thank you for your interest in working with the CCNA EPLED Advisory Group. We ask you to please complete this form in order to provide some information about your request.
The information you provide will help us understand your project and plan how we might work together. We encourage you to consider opportunities for meaningful engagement throughout your project. Please note that while we will make every effort, we cannot guarantee lived experience engagement on your project due to factors that include capacity of the EPLED program and its Advisory Group.
Before beginning the form, please consider the following checklist. To consult with the Advisory Group, you must:
Be a CCNA researcher or trainee (or have consulted with the EPLED program via email prior to your application)
Have a project that requires lived experience (or “patient engagement in research”); in other words, you are not looking for study subjects, you are seeking collaborators with lived experience who will provide input in planning, conducting or communicating your research
Meet with our EPLED team to discuss your request
Incorporate Suggestions for Researchers Presenting to the EPLED Advisory Group when presenting or providing written documents to the Advisory Group
Incorporate Tips and Strategies for Engaging People with Lived Experience of Dementia in Research Meetings when planning engagement activities in virtual or in-person meetings/events
Incorporate CCNA Grant writing resources when planning lived experience engagement in your grant application
Co-facilitate the Advisory Group consultation(s) with a member of the EPLED team and/or Advisory Group
Report back to the Advisory Group on how their input was used in the project
Complete a short evaluation of your experience working with the Advisory Group
